When completed, everything was beautiful. In fact, the temps, even after heavy game play, don't even go high enough for the system fan to switch up to medium speed. Did it have one fan or two?

You mentioned it was a Startech. Any advice you guys could give me would help me greatly. But I am reluctant to do that for several reasons.

Please remember to be considerate of other members. What graphics card should i get? If you don't, you're better off buying ones that appeal to your ears anyway, not spending extra on the system to get ones you don't like and have to replace anyway.

Do you have the documentation of the dimensions at all? Sometimes static can damage the card on installation.

And last night I ordered a Startech W power supply from eMachines. Could I get a new power supply, take the old one from the T and put it in the T? The system runs like a dream come true.

The driver install failed first. Did you uninstall the old drivers?

Don't worry, it uninstalls the video drivers only and not the chipset drivers. The psu I put in came from Gateway, I wanted to maintain the company link to ensure there would be no warranty issues. After booting to ensure the system came up, I shut down and installed the new card. Make sure that the computer is off and unplugged.

As for the mouse, that was a bit cheap, but again, a low cost item to remedy. We've been playing with speakers and are having a hard time finding ones we like. Trust me, it was easy as could be. The watt psu from Gateway comes in two configurations, a single and a dual fan.

It is just a tad longer than the original, but the same length and height. Their email is a bit scary, but they look to discourage, not encourage upgrades.
